The seating surfaces were reupholstered in black vinyl, and additional work included the replacement of the dash pad, engine-turned dash fascia, center console, carpeting headliner, seat belts, door cards, door handles, switches, emblems, power window motors, power door lock actuators, heater core, and HVAC system. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel Wilwood discs, and the brake booster, master cylinder, and lines were replaced. The suspension was also overhauled, and additional equipment includes removable t-top roof panels, a shaker hood, 15″ snowflake alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning. This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Special Edition was first delivered to Bert Allen Pontiac of Gulfport, Mississippi, and it was acquired by the seller in 2006 and subsequently refurbished.
